At San Dimas Optometry, our goal is to promote good eye health and enable you to have the clearest vision possible. We accept several types of vision insurance, cash, checks, and most credit cards. We inform our San Dimas patients about exam and treatment costs at the beginning of your appointment. If you require a breakdown of costs, please let us know.
Vision Insurance
Our doctors participate in most all of the major health insurance plans in the region. Following are the health plans which we currently accept.
If your plan is not listed, we will be unable to file a claim on your behalf. However, we can provide you with a form that you can submit to your insurance company to instruct them to send reimbursements directly to you.
Please be aware that with any health plans, there may be deductibles and copayments for which you could be responsible.

Flexible Spending Accounts
Many employers are offering Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options to employees. Sometimes these are referred to as cafeteria plans and are elective, supplemental insurance savings plans. These plans are designed to let you save money in an account, pre-tax, to pay for additional medical expenses such as eye exams, glasses, contacts, and often laser vision surgery. Check with the benefits administrator at your work to see if you are eligible for this program. FSAs can typically be used in conjunction with any vision insurance plan to offset any out-of-pocket costs on your behalf.
Care Credit
We offer Care Credit as a convenient financing option for our patients to make installments on their total balance. This flexible option allows for up to 18 months without interest charges, subject to credit approval. We can apply for you in office at the time of your visit, or patients are welcome to visit www.carecredit.com for further information.
Other Payment Options
Our San Dimas optometry staff understands that cost is a concern when evaluating vision care providers. We do not want cost to be an obstacle to maintaining proper eye health and good vision.
