  • Dr.
    Richard Garratt

    Dr. Garratt graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago in 1983.  He served in the United States Navy before establishing his practice in San Dimas in 1989. 

    Dr. Garratt is board certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease.  He is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the California Optometric Association. He has served on the board and as President of the Inland Empire Optometric Society.  He regularly attends continuing education classes in order to stay up with the latest innovation and advances in the profession.   Dr. Garratt takes pride in combining his expertise and care with the latest cutting edge technology to provide the highest quality care.  

    He lives in Covina with his wife Lori who is a stay at home mom of their 4 children, Karely, Niko, McKenna, and Jacob.  Dr. Garratt and his wife enjoy spending their time together with their family camping, hiking, biking, snow skiing, and water skiing.

    Abigayle Gutierrez

    Meet Dr. Gutierrez

    Dr. Abby Gutierrez graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2017. She received her Bachelors in Neuroscience from the University of Southern California in 2012. She underwent optometric training in the areas of oculoplastic and cataract surgery, glaucoma, low vision and ocular disease. Her externship sites include the: Tayani Eye Institute Co-Ophthalmology and Optometry, Tucson VA Medical Center, University Eye Center at Los Angeles and the University of Southern California Roski Eye Institute.  

     

    Wearing glasses since the 2nd grade, Dr. Gutierrez understands the importance in not only the ability to see but in maintaining healthy vision as long as possible. It all starts with a comprehensive annual eye exam. She thoroughly believes in the power of education for the best visual outcomes of her patients. She is national and state-board certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease and the use of therapeutic pharmaceutical agents to manage a variety of ocular conditions. She enjoys seeing patients from a variety of ages in a primary care private practice setting. Her special interests include: ocular disease and myopia management.

     

    Growing up as a Southern California girl (not too far from San Dimas), Dr. Gutierrez loves to spend time with her family; her husband, 2 sons, 2 dogs, and 2 tortoises. She also enjoys exploring the great outdoors with her family. 



  • Dr.
    Karina Delgado

    Dr. Delgado is a Southern California native who graduated with her Doctor of Optometry degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Fullerton in 2014. She is bilingual in Spanish.

    Dr. Delgado is trained in a variety of optometric settings across the country including community health clinics, Indian Health Service (IHS) Clinics, and a number of private practices in both California and Kansas, allowing her to gain experience working with diverse populations. She is certified through the board of optometry to treat and manage a variety of ocular diseases and co-manage surgical procedures, such as refractive/LASIK and cataract surgeries. Dr. Delgado loves to examine patients of all ages and has a special interest in working with the pediatric population. She has a passion for the field of optometry and for providing the best eye care for her patients of all ages. 

    In her free time, Dr. Delgado enjoys spending time with her husband at Disneyland, traveling, and going on hikes with her dogs!

    Marisol Hernandez-Sanchez

    Dr. Hernandez obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from Western University of Health Sciences where she underwent her optometric training in the areas of low vision rehabilitation, neuro-optometry, ocular disease, and primary eyecare optometry. Her externship sites include: the Eye Care Institute WesternU Health Los Angeles, Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Tennessee, and private practices in California and Arizona. Dr. Hernandez is certified through the board of optometry to treat and manage various ocular diseases. Dr. Hernandez enjoys serving the community and has volunteered at various vision screenings throughout Los Angeles County and Mexico. Dr. Hernandez is bilingual in Spanish.  In her free time, Dr. Hernandez enjoys going to the beach, exploring Los Angeles and spending quality time with her husband and family.
